At Frost Giant Studios, we’re growing the team that aims to build the next great real-time strategy game (RTS). We are looking for a skilled, experienced, and driven UI Artist to help us make our new game a reality.
As part of the Frost Giant Art Team, you will be pivotal in the creation and development of our upcoming RTS. We are a tight-knit group and many of us have a great passion for the genre, but we are eager to welcome someone with fresh perspectives to the team–even if you’ve never played an RTS before!
Because of our relatively small team size, your contributions will be incredibly meaningful. Everything you work on will have a major impact on the final game experience, including shaping how the game looks, our cinematics, and our marketing. We have a lot of amazing art to create and we hope you are the UI Artist who will help bring it all to life!
Core responsibilities:
- Create and update a style guide for all screens
- Create mockups of UI screens based on provided designs
- Create and implement art in Unreal
- Create core functionality in Unreal for animations, events and triggers
- Strong Drawing/Painting/Illustration skill
Desirable skills and attributes, but not requirements:
- A passion for delighting players through art in RTS games
- Unreal Engine development experience with Blueprints and Materials
- Previously shipped a AAA game
- Comfortable working in a studio environment in a hybrid setting
- Experience collaborating with external and remote colleagues, including outsourcing companies
